I just finished reading Blue Sword by Robin Mckinley. It took me awhile to finish this one, 2 months, but it wasn’t exactly because it was a bad story. Here’s what I said on my books app in facebook.

I thought it was a well written book. I especially enjoyed that the characters were “normal”.. often they would say or think things that I had just thought about what happened. The overall plot was kinda cliche, I could picture the “training montage” or major problems get solved in a sudden fantastic way, but it wasn’t corny. It was more like a diary, you only write about the major stuff that happens.
