Upon hearing this album I got the idea that like most people Beyonce is a complex person who is into more than just one type of music. The first eight songs on the I am side - the side that is slow paced  the songs are decent. She has her version of Ave Maria which sounds good. the first part of the cd is good for when you have had a stressful day and relaxing is the only thing on your mind. Single ladies (put your hands up) starts the second half which includes 8 dance mixes. The song Diva breaks down the definition of the word by Beyonce’s eyes - “a female hustla”. This side of the cd for me is good for Saturday moringin cleaning…acting a fool with a mop and a broom around the house. The cd to me was something that she put some thought into. I enjoy listening to her music, but think that some of the songs were not that great. I give the cd an overall B+. Maybe in time the cd will grow on me until then…all my single ladies (put your hands up)!
